Private Park is an acre of secluded land and has cushioned seating, BBQ pits, fire pits, treehouse with chalkboards, swing set, stage and more, centrally located near the square and San Marcos River. No restrictions, open to special requests or payment arrangements. It's a perfect location for deliveries, catering, or food trucks! Reserve for the day or for 4 hours.
Private Park is our sanctuary—a dream that began in 2019.
While many businesses were closing their doors in 2020, this mother-daughter duo worked tirelessly to officially open Private Park in June of that year. We cherish spending time outdoors, watching the deer, foxes, squirrels, hawks, cardinals, and hummingbirds while listening to the rhythmic tapping of our resident woodpeckers.
As our daughter grows, so does San Marcos—and so must this Mom Shop! Exciting changes are on the horizon, including hiking trails, indoor/overnight options, a new store, and special experience packages. Our goal is to provide a welcoming community park for all ages, and we truly appreciate your patience as we navigate these enhancements. We started with the simplest of beginnings and have steadily upgraded whenever possible.
