Party Time!

Although we do our best to manage pests, Private Park is located in a wooded area that is also prone to flooding.  We recommend wearing shoes at all times, bringing bug spray, and staying within the boundary of the Park. Please keep an eye out for the occasional ant hill and stray wasp.

Our BBQ pits are available for use. We recommend bringing utensils, foil, plates, Tupperware with tops, napkins, and table cloths for easy cleanup. Fly traps are convenient, however, we keep one near the pit. Don’t forget ice chests and plenty of water.

Be sure to bring a Bluetooth speaker for music or karaoke. 

We have 5 tables, 18 chairs, 2 picnic tables, and 1 bench available. If you forget anything, Dollar General is at the end of the block.

We have an ADA approved handicap restroom. The portable restroom is provided by Honeybucket and serviced weekly, although cleaned before and after each reserved visit. It’s extremely large with a hand sanitizer dispenser located inside near the door. We also have a sink outside the restroom with organic dish and hand soap. Scrubbers are inside the drawers next to the BBQ pit for dish washing.

Private Park is only a few blocks from the San Marcos River, the San Marcos City Park,  and a short drive to the San Marcos Downtown Square. You and your friends and family will have a great time knowing that the park is set up with everything one might need to enjoy their day outdoors. Should you forget anything, Dollar General is just a short drive down the road.
